On September 17, 2023, under the auspices of the Rajni Care Foundation, a program titled "Ayushman Aapke Dwaar" was organized by S.R.M. Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Bareilly, under the direction of Principal Prof. D.K. Maurya. Medical camps were held in Bhojipura, Bareilly, where Dr. Shantul Gupta and Dr. Pranav Gautam provided free medical check-ups and distributed medicines to 210 patients. The camp primarily catered to patients with joint diseases, arthritis, skin conditions, eye disorders, and digestive ailments.
During the camp, the public was educated about dietary habits, lifestyle, and daily routines based on the weather conditions to promote health. It was emphasized that during the rainy season, drinking water should be boiled, cooled, or filtered properly to prevent infections. To protect against infections, the use of ingredients like bitter gourd, turmeric, basil, and fenugreek seeds was encouraged.
The final-year student Punit Upadhyay, along with Nazneen, Keerti Ranjan, pharmacist Shri Mahendra Pandey, and Assistant Collector Singh, made significant contributions to the camp. Principal Prof. D.K. Maurya mentioned that similar programs would continue to be organized by the institution under the Ayushman Bhavah and Vishwakarma Yojana of the Indian government until October 2, 2023.
